【オーダースーツ続編】400工程検証
ファイブワン・ファクトリーの全工程を検証する企画第二弾「オンライン工場見学」
通常では、見て頂く事の出来ない工場の職人さん達を知って頂き、FIVEONEのスーツ作り[Mede to Measure]を多くの方に知って頂ければ光栄です。

オンライン工場見学　芯据えアイロン・芯据えジャンプ・ラペルのハザシ

009 芯据えアイロン/Core setting ironing.

芯据えアイロン

生地を立体的な形状にするためのアイロンをかけます。
縮めたり伸ばしたりという難しい工程は熟練した職人の技術が必要不可欠。

The fabric is ironed to give it a three-dimensional shape.
The difficult process of shrinking and stretching is essential for skilled craftsmen.

特徴的なのが前肩を持ち上げて、肩から胸にかけてのふくらみを立体的な形状にアイロンでつくります。
この工程を行う事で、FIVEONE独自の着心地となります。
Characteristically, the front shoulders are lifted and the bulge from the shoulders to the chest is ironed into a three-dimensional shape.
This process gives FIVEONE its unique comfort.

動画で見逃したかもしれません。
芯据えアイロンを行い、職人が毛芯の糸を切ります。糸が切れた毛芯は大きく立体的に開くように設計されているのに気づかれましたか？
You may have missed it in the video.
The core is ironed in place and the craftsman cuts the yarn of the hair core. Did you notice that the hair core with the thread cut is designed to open up in a large, three-dimensional shape?

表生地よりも毛芯の方が少し長いサイズであることが、仕上がりが映える。
シャーリングの糸は、次の工程で抜きます。そうすることで毛芯がさらに大きく解放されます。
The woollen core is slightly longer in size than the outer fabric, which makes the finished product look better.
The shirring threads are pulled out in the next step. This releases the wool core to an even greater extent.

010 芯据えジャンプ/Interlining jumps.

仕上がりを持った時に、生地が下に向けて綺麗に落ちていることが大事です。

It is important that the fabric falls nicely downwards when you hold the finished product.

011ラペルのハザシ/Lapel ”HAZASHI”.

シのミシン

ドイツ製のミシンは、上前用、下前用に、左右を自動的に外回りと内回りにルイスをかけるミシンで、とても便利です。
ビスポークテーラーの職人はこの作業を手だ行いますが、私達はこの設備のおかげで効率的な作業を行う事が可能になります。
コストパフォーマンスを上げるために役立っていると思います。
A very convenient sewing machine made in Germany automatically sews the left and right upper fronts inwards and the lower front outwards.
Bespoke tailors do this manually, but this equipment makes it more efficient.
I think it is also cost-effective.

その仕上がりは、職人技です。
Its finish is craftsmanship.

職人技により、ラペルはわずかに丸みを帯び、ロール状になっています。
Craftsmanship allows the lapel to be slightly rounded and rolled.

ハザシ後のラペルのロール

毛芯の余分な部分をカットします。機械でカットする事も可能ですが、職人の目で見てゆがみをうまくカットして綺麗なラインにします。
Cut the excess part of the hair core. It can be cut by machine, but the craftsman’s eye can also cut the distortion well to create a clean line.

動画でもわかるように、ファイブワンファクトリーはハンドメイドが中心ですが、効率も良いと思います。
As the video shows, Five One Factory is mainly handmade, but it is also very efficient.
