ファイブワン・ファクトリーの全工程を検証する企画第二弾「オンライン工場見学」
通常では、見て頂く事の出来ない工場の職人さん達を知って頂き、FIVEONEのスーツ作り[Mede to Measure]を多くの方に知って頂ければ光栄です。

1　ショルダープレス/ shoulder press

肩プレスは上下プレスで構成され、表地・芯地・裏地・肩パットをプレスで馴染ませ、時にはかためたり、形を形成する工程です。他工場ではこの工程をしていない場合も多いと聞いていますが、すべてが重用でFIVEONE FACTORY製には必要不可欠です。

The shoulder press consists of upper and lower presses, and the outer fabric, interlining, lining, and shoulder pads are pressed to blend, and sometimes to firm and shape the fabric. We have heard that many other factories do not perform this process, but it is all very important and indispensable for FIVEONE FACTORY products.

ネック綴じジャンプの工程は、最後にも説明がありますが、ハイクオリティ担当の三橋さんがこちらも担当されています。
衿の昇り、そら豆のようなアームホールの形状は、特徴的です。

２　ゴージ縫い/ Gorge Stitch　ゴージ割り/Gorge Split

通常のラインはサック衿、ハイクオリティ本衿掛けになりますが、ここでも中間アイロンを使い、後ろの工程で衿の昇り、肩線の綺麗さを意識します。

３　衿付けジャンプ/ Collar Attachment Jump Sewing Machine　コ型ミシン/コ-shaped sewing machine

衿付けジャンプにより縫いしろは1～1.5㎝の間で衿にイセコミを入れます。これは上衿の大きさが大きいため、最終的に衿の昇りに影響する大事な工程です。このような工程は通常は社外秘ですが、職人の技術を継承する為にも知って頂きたいので後悔している次第です。（笑）
衿付けはコの字に縫います。しっかりと縫うためでもあります。衿の昇りと肩線が変形しない為に、テープとコの字ミシンが活躍します。

Depending on the collaring jump, the seam allowance is 1 to 1.5 cm and “ISEKOMI” is placed on the collar. This is an important process that affects the final rise of the collar because of the large size of the upper collar. This process is usually kept secret from the public, but we regret that we want you to know about it so that you can inherit our craftsmen’s skills. (Laughs)
The collar is sewn in a コ-shape. This is also to sew firmly. To prevent deformation of the collar and shoulder line, tape and a コ-shaped sewing machine are used.

４　衿ころし、ラペルのロール/ Collar removal, collar rolling

衿の仕上げは、前述したように、ハイクオリティ担当の三橋さんが工程を担当します。
これは、工場長のこだわりを通常のバルクやオーダーにもしっかり浸透させています。
それらのすべての工程と職人の技により“作品”に相応しい仕上がりになります。

The collar is sewn in a U-shape.
This is also for sewing tightly.
To prevent deformation of the collar and shoulder lines, tape and a U-shaped sewing machine are used.
